Meet our Therapist – Sarah
Sarah takes great pride in the quality of her services and has a calm and friendly manner. Sarah takes care to put you at ease, whatever the treatment/s you are receiving, fully explaining the procedure and ensuring that you are comfortable and relaxed. Sarah uses quality products ensuring the maximum benefit for you and your treatment (see Product Information).
Sarah started her business in November 2015 after spending most of her life in administration; including 10 years at a local legal practice as a PA and then Practice Manager, and the last 10 years as an Administration Lead with the NHS. Wanting a complete change, Sarah applied for voluntary redundancy and retrained, first as a Beautician, and then Massage Therapist. Training in Complementary Therapies and latterly, a relatively new therapy, ScarWork, extended Sarah’s knowledge further. Sarah absolutely loves the industry and is extremely proud of all she offers.
Sarah is Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) and City & Guilds (C&G) Level 3 trained and is a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT); she is also fully insured with the FHT.
The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) is the UK’s leading professional association for complementary, beauty and sports therapists. For more than 50 years, the FHT been instrumental in ensuring high standards in therapy education and practice.
As well as supporting members with a range of services and benefits, including tailor-made insurance and International Therapist magazine, the FHT holds the largest Accredited Register of complementary therapists to have been independently approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
The Accredited Registers programme aims to protect the public by helping people to choose a non-statutory regulated health professional with confidence. Overseen by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, an independent body accountable to Parliament, it is the only initiative covering complementary therapy that is currently backed by Government.
Being listed on an Accredited Register demonstrates that you are committed to high standards of practice.
